Organic Fruits & Vegetables Market-Overview
Organic Fruits & Vegetables Market Size Anticipated
to Reach at a USD 62.8 Billion by 2032, CAGR of 8.21% By 2023 - 2032
Due to the negative impacts of pesticides on the environment
and soil quality, farmers opt for chemical-free operations while cultivating
fruits and vegetables. Furthermore, the growing number of government programs
to support organic farming catalyses organic fruit and vegetable market growth.
One of the prime determinants fuelling the growth of the
organic fruits and veggies market is growing knowledge about the benefits of
eating organic food. Most users in the least developed nations cannot purchase
organically grown fruits and vegetables, limiting the organic
fruits and vegetables market size client base.

News:
Mar 2022 The Tamil Nadu State government in India has
planned to start the "Tamil Nadu Organic Farming Mission" under the
horticulture division to support organic farming at all stages of the
production cycle and assist farmers in marketing their output across India with
a single certificate. The mission will be conducted under a cluster-based
method on 50 hectares, each with two groups in each district. An Integrated
Seed Certification Office Complex, which will assist with seed certification,
inspection, and testing, will be established in the districts of Villupuram and
Tiruppur at the cost of Rs.4 crore to facilitate access to high-quality seeds
and provide advisory on seed production and certification of organic crops. A
participatory guarantee system (PGS) would be created to facilitate the selling
of organic produce across India without incurring certification costs to lower
